It’s been a while since I’ve - dare I say it - blogged…  It feels a bit hypocrital to blog as day in, day out, I work with bloggers.  I have my opinions on almost every blog out there.  Too many ads, too many sponsored posts, bullsh*t media kits, too many - or too few - contributors, no engagement, no phone #…. and the list goes on.

I guess the most frustrating thing about blogs in Vancouver is that there are already enough - and none that really intice me to make it one of my homepage tabs.  When I open my browser up pops oogle+, Facebook, TheVerge, Jalopnik, HypeM, Twitter and Gmail.  I wish there was one local blog that I could add to that list, but I can’t find one. 

I guess I’ll be patient… As I’m sure there’s a person with 20-25 hours of spare time that shares the exact same interests and has the same gripes with the City of Van that I do that will begin blogging in a short while.  Until then, I’ll occasionally peek at VCB, VIA, Briefed and Inside Van.
